Free Coaching Initiative Announced
The Nanded district administration in Maharashtra has announced a plan to provide free coaching for national-level competitive exams – NEET, JEE, and CET – to 200 students from economically weaker rural families. This initiative is being implemented in response to ongoing drought conditions affecting 75% of the state’s districts.
Eligibility Criteria
Students currently enrolled in Class 10 at Zilla Parishad high schools and private aided schools located in rural areas are eligible to apply. Selection will be based on performance in an entrance test scheduled to be held in December, as announced by the district administration.
Coaching Details
Selected students will receive structured coaching focused on preparing for medical, engineering, and other professional courses. The goal of this scheme is to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent talented students from pursuing higher education opportunities.
Implementation Timeline
The district administration has encouraged eligible students from rural areas to take advantage of this initiative. The entrance test is planned for December. Further details regarding the application process and the coaching program will be released by the district administration.
Official Appeal
The district administration has appealed to eligible students to apply for the coaching program, aiming to support their educational aspirations despite the challenging circumstances.
